Naturally you want to know a bit about my story. I am a former journalist who, for the last 25 years, has focused on writing, marketing, and helping establish the USS Midway Museum most-visited naval ship museum in the world.

Since 2004 I have been marketing director of the museum. As lead spokesperson, I have appeared on the History Channel, Travel Network, Discovery Channel, Outdoor Channel, and Tennis Channel, among others.

I also have given more than 100 speeches and presentations, ranging from inspirational dinner keynote speeches to team-building presentations. Audiences have ranged from students to school administrators, from community and civic leaders to company executives.

Prior to 2004, I was a partner in two of San Diego's largest marketing communication agencies. I have earned an Accreditation in Public Relations and have been accepted into the prestigious PRSA Counselors Academy. My bachelor's degree is in political science from Arizona State University, after studying international relations at Uppsala (Sweden) University.

Most importantly, my wife and son inspire me every day. It is for them that I write to preserve the legacy of those who have made our family's life in America possible.
